Encrypting Web Traffic
Encrypting Web Traffic will take you step by step through encrypting your site using SSL/TLS. You'll start by setting up a simple server listening for SSL/TLS on :443. You'll generate a self-signed certificate, and then upload and configure SSL keys. You specify protocols and ciphers for your site and understand how to configure them to prevent downgrades to insecure ciphers. Having implemented SSL/TLS on your site, you'll explore ways to make it faster, from OCSP Stapling to keepalives to ssl_session_cache and related directives. This module has hands-on labs.
